Health is literally in your own hands

In April 2020, I contracted COVID-19. No symptoms for five days. Dry cough and shortness of breath for seven days. Splitting headache, fatigue and a much worse cough for two days.

No problem. I knew Jin Shin Jyutsu, and promptly put my hands on the specific points on the body that help lungs, breathing, and the immune system. By the third day I was back at work (I was in the middle of conducting a 21 Cay Challenge for improving vision).

To put this in perspective, I'm 70 years old. So, technically a "risk group."

What is Jin Shin Jyutsu?

Jin Shin Jyutsu literally translated is as follows: The Creator’s Art through Compassionate Man (An Art of Circulation Reawakening).

Jyutsu means Art,
Shin means Creator, and
Jin means Compassionate Man

Through Jin Shin Jyutsu, man’s awareness is reawakened to the simple fact that all the power needed for harmony and balance –– physically, mentally, emotionally, digestively and spiritually –– is within all.
The realization of this simple fact will bring about the feeling of complete peace, serenity and security within. No one and no thing will be able to take this peace away. Fears, one by one, begin to dissipate, and all unnecessary burdens are unloaded to make way for the complete harmony within and without.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is the study of the Knowing of the three main balancing flows. These energy flows ascend the back (posterior) and descend the front (anterior) of the body. As they circulate throughout the body, they harmonize all the rest of the body function energy flows.
Now, the questions arise as to what is energy flow? The simple way to understand this is:
What makes the heart beat?
What makes breathing possible?
What happens to the foods taken into the body?
What makes turning on the key start the car engine?
What starts feeding the gasoline and oil?
What makes the light turn on?
The answer to the latter questions would simply be: “The battery of the car.” The battery is the necessary energy for any of the functions of the engine of a simple car. The answer to “What is the energy flow” would simply be: “The battery of life.”
Energy flow is required for the various functions of the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu is the Knowing of why and how the flow of the battery of life can be kept in harmony, recharged and rejuvenated.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is the study of the knowing of the 12 organ function energy flows. By knowing these organ function flows, every body function can be one [point] or a combination of these 26 key points, [and] the tension can be released for proper circulation in the body.
So, simply, Jin Shin Jyutsu is the Knowing of the Whys of the condition of the body at the moment, and the Knowing of the Hows to once again reawaken the awareness for maintenance of health, happiness, longevity and benevolence, a knowledge given equally to all upon creation.
